A landmark event in historic motorsport will arrive at Silverstone Circuit this summer with the return of the Classic, and the support of the guardians of Silverstone and British motorsport, the prestigious British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC).

The BRDC Classic takes place from 24-26 July 2026, bringing together legendary racing cars, celebrated drivers, and passionate enthusiasts for a three-day celebration of automotive heritage. The event aims to honour the machines, drivers, and engineering achievements that have shaped global motorsport while delivering an immersive experience for fans of all generations.

At its core, The BRDC Classic will celebrate the enduring legacy of racing. Historic racing cars from multiple eras will return to the track, offering fans the rare opportunity to witness authentic, high-performance competition on the legendary Grand Prix Circuit, while also enjoying close-up access to iconic machines and the stories behind them. This special weekend stands as a testament to the shared mission between the BRDC and Silverstone: to honour the past while continuing to inspire new generations of motorsport fans.

The British Racing Drivers' Club has long been a guardian of British motorsport excellence, with membership that includes many of the sport's most accomplished racing drivers. Their involvement ensures that The BRDC Classic will be more than a historic race meeting — it will be a curated celebration of sporting achievement, engineering brilliance, and the spirit of racing.

Spectators can expect a packed schedule of historic racing featuring iconic categories and championships, including:

  • GP Icons - Formula One's golden eras from the 1960s, 70s and 80s reborn on track
