The KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique stands as a flagship event on the calendar, bringing together a powerful and diverse field of historic machinery. Set against the dazzling backdrop of the French Riviera and the rolling Provençal landscape, this is the event that has everything - wheel-to-wheel racing, historic prestige, and the unmistakable atmosphere that defines Masters Historic Racing.
The programme features five Masters races across two days, within a programme featuring 12 races in total and six demonstrations, ensuring a packed and engaging weekend for competitors and spectators.
A Major Spectacle
Each year, nearly 225 racing cars take part, including more than 60 iconic Formula 1 machines spanning the 1970s to the 2010s, and this year is no different. This remarkable grid, complemented by Formula 2, Formula 3, prototypes, and GT cars, transforms Circuit Paul Ricard into a living showcase of motorsport history, where multiple generations of racing excellence share the same stage.
Three Masters Historic Racing grids will be joined by the F2 and F3 Classic Interseries, alongside Formule Renault Classic and the 200 km du Grand Prix de France Historique, delivering a rich and varied programme that reflects the breadth and spirit of historic competition.
Adding to the on-track spectacle, the weekend will also feature a series of dedicated parade sessions, bringing an eclectic mix of historic racing and road cars back onto the circuit in non-competitive runs. These appearances offer a relaxed but highly evocative contrast to the races, allowing spectators to appreciate the sound, variety, and character of machines from different eras as they take to the track purely for the pleasure of being seen and heard once more.
More Than Just Racing
Beyond the on-track action, the Grand Prix de France Historique offers a complete experience for enthusiasts and families alike. The event will feature themed activities, dedicated car club displays, a vibrant shopping village, diverse catering options, children's play areas, an open-air podium, and opportunities to meet celebrated figures from the world of motorsport, making it a true celebration of racing culture.
