Classic Car Comment At last, looks like we have light at the end of what has been a very frustrating tunnel. From 29 March we will be drip-fed live historic motorsport and, if all goes well, by June, it‘ll be just like old times. Well, nearly. Thumbs up.

Classic Motorsport Retro-Fact In
the 1928 Six Hour Race at Brooklands, the Riley of Kenneth Peacock was in
danger of losing its front number plate, punishable by exclusion. Instead of
pitting, he sent his riding mechanic across the bonnet to fix it, while he kept
up speed. As assurance, the driver held on to the mechanic‘s leg while holding
on to the steering wheel with one hand. Surprisingly, it worked and the Riley
went on to win its class. Those were the days.
